Prerequisite

When the Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bar System has been installed and connected, it is ready to be configured.
The setup wizard, which is displayed on the touch controller and the video bar, will guide you through the following steps.
Configure using the touch controller
- Select the language
- Set the date and time
- Pair the touch controller with the video bar (if not pre-paired)
- Update the device firmware
- Select and start the video service provider* (if not pre-selected)

If no touch controller is available, you can configure the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System using the video bar. This method requires the use of either a touch monitor or a wired keyboard and mouse.

After configuring the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System, the touch controller will display the video conferencing app of your service provider.
The next step is to configure the video bar settings. You can configure these settings using the touch controller or the Web Console.

How do I manage the video settings on the Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bar System?
Administrators can remotely configure the video conferencing settings directly in the touch controller or using the Web Console.
To access the video conferencing settings using the touch controller, go to theĀ MoreĀ menu in the video conferencing app. SelectĀ Settings,Ā Device settings. In the Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bar System settings screen, go to theĀ AdminĀ menu and log in as an administrator.
To access the video conferencing settings using the Web Console, enter the IP address of the video bar or touch controller in a browser. The IP address is displayed on the installation screen during the configuration process of the Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bar System. The IP address is also available in theĀ AboutĀ section of theĀ Device settingsĀ menu on the touch controller.
Video settings include the following:
Camera mode
- Intelligent Zoom (default setting)
Dynamically frames all visible people within 6 meters (20 feet). - Virtual Director
Dynamically switches to and focuses on the person who is speaking. - Panoramic View
Displays a panoramic view of the meeting room. - Dynamic Composition ā Single Stream (available only for MS Teams Rooms)
Displays up to 4 participants in a meeting room in a tiled view. The tiled view will dynamically update to display the participants who are actively speaking. This option requires a reboot of the device.
Field of view
The angle of the camera can be optically adjusted for a wider or narrower view of the meeting room. The default setting is 180Ā°.
Pan, Tilt, Zoom presetsĀ (available only for Zoom Rooms)
Administrators can adjust and save the camera view using the touch controller. Saved presets do not overwrite the default Pan, Tilt, Zoom settings. Users can select saved presets when a new meeting starts.
Image quality
You can adjust the image for brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and white balance. Adjusting the settings will change the image quality in real time.
You can also enable Vivid HDR and Automatic white balance. If Vivid HDR is enabled, you cannot adjust the contrast, saturation, and sharpness manually. If Automatic white balance is enabled, you cannot adjust the white balance manually.
Video flicker
Video flicker can occur if the video bar is not set to the correct Region frequency for your geographic region.
To prevent video flicker, select Auto 50Hz/60Hz (the default setting) for regions that support NTSC format, or 50Hz for regions that support PAL format.
